Aug 20 - Fitch Ratings rates Mississippi Power Company's (MPC) issuance of $200 million series 2012A 4.25% senior notes due March 15, 2042 'A'. These notes are part of the same series of debt securities as the $250 million senior notes issued on March 9, 2012. These notes are senior, unsecured obligations of MPC.
